Peer Review Process

Reviews are conducted through a double-blind peer-review process, where the Author and Reviewer do not know each other.

Reviewers registered with Murai : Jurnal Papua Teologi Kontekstual have the right to submit their articles to the journal for publication. The Editor will adhere to the double-blind peer-review principle, ensuring that manuscripts submitted by authors who are registered as reviewers will be assigned to other reviewers.

Reviewers must have experience writing in National Accredited Journals (online) as indicated by indexing services like Google Scholar, for at least the past 2 years.

Murai : Jurnal Papua Teologi Kontekstual does not require a minimum of 2 reviewers per manuscript, as each Editor (Section Editor) serves as the initial "Reviewer" for each assigned manuscript. The Section Editor will review each manuscript at the substantive level and has the authority to reject or proceed with the review process by assigning additional reviewers.

The assignment of additional reviewers complements the evaluation already conducted by the Section Editor. Therefore, the decision to select one or more reviewers is made by the Editors (Section) in consultation with the chief/managing editor, considering the manuscript's readiness and quality.
