To maintain and ensure the originality of manuscripts, each submitted manuscript will be checked for similarity using the Turnitin similarity check application.

The allowable similarity tolerance limit is a maximum of 20%. Manuscripts exceeding the 20% similarity limit will be returned. The similarity check is conducted after the submitted manuscript is declared to conform to the Focus & Scope of Murai: Journal of Contextual Papuan Theology.

If during the editing process (layout and proofreading), the editor finds a similarity level above 20%, the accepted manuscript will have its publication delayed until the next issue, pending necessary revisions.
