Christian marriage is understood as a calling of faith that demands lifelong fidelity and responsibility, so that the integrity of the household is an important part of the church's witness. However, the reality of church ministry shows that postmarital guidance is still minimal, incidental, and tends to be reactive, while married couples face various relational, economic, spiritual, and cultural challenges after several years of marriage. This study aims to examine postmarital guidance based on Christian Religious Education (PAK) from a practical theology perspective as an integrative framework for church family ministry. The study used a qualitative approach with a literature study method and theological reflection on the literature on practical theology, PAK, family pastoral care, and scientific research. The analysis was conducted descriptively and theologically by interpreting the findings within an integrated framework between postmarital guidance, PAK, and practical theology. The research findings indicate that postmarital development in many churches has not yet become a systematic and sustainable program, necessitating a paradigm shift in service from a reactive approach to an educational-formative approach. PAK plays a strategic role as a pedagogical basis for family development, placing the family as the primary space for faith education, while practical theology provides a reflective and contextual framework for integrating family life experiences with theological reflection and pastoral action. In the Papuan context, the integration of Gospel values ??with local wisdom through an inculturative approach strengthens the relevance of postmarital development for Christian families. Therefore, postmarital development based on PAK and practical theology needs to be reconstructed as a sustainable, contextual, and transformative church service to strengthen family unity and the church's witness of faith in society.
